In addition, he has served as counsel for holders of senior and subordinated debt, issuers and companies in connection with numerous secured and unsecured leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, debt restructurings and debtor-in-possession financings, guarantied investment contract backed notes, and other securitizations and structured financings. He has represented financial institutions issuing or receiving letters of credit to support financings.
His experience includes work on behalf of major banks, creditors, insurance companies, and other lenders as well as a number of Fortune 500 companies representing them in foreclosures, collection actions, bankruptcies, and receiverships. Andrew is also a Rhode Island Court appointed Receiver and a Certified Mediator.

Prior to and during Andrew’s career as an attorney, he has started several successful companies that still operate and thrive today, including a manufacturing company and several restaurants. Andrew’s extensive experience in business translates into representing his clients with a better understanding of their business and legal issues.
Andrew’s representation of Rhode Island and Connecticut developers has ranged from small residential projects to a $16,000,000.00 commercial project. He was responsible for all legal aspects of the projects, including negotiating acquisition terms, infrastructure and development financing, bonding and municipal, and state permitting/approvals. During his representation of his clients he regularly handles lease drafting and negotiation, evictions and associated litigation.
